First off, I don’t think this place needs any advertising considering people are waiting 2 hours in drive thru.

I also question how a fast food place has anything to do with One Sioux Falls?

And lastly, my tax dollars should not be used to promote ANY private business.

This administration will do anything to distract from the real issues going on.

I sometimes even wonder if Mayor SelfTaken is even serious about a 2nd term or if he is just acting as a place holder to raise money for who ever they will pull out of the Taupeville Hat?

  1. Because it a super evangelical policied business. This is essentially the promotion of “Christian Values”. Really a shirt-tail violation of 1st amendment. Government promotion of religion – some more.

  2. Oh, I am well aware. I had a person tell me once he belonged to the SF Christian Businessman’s club. I said, isn’t that an oxymoron? He looked puzzled.

  3. Sup with this. It’s just chicken you gotta buy somewhere else on Sunday. What’s dangerous is other fast food chains can now insist on free advertising from the city. I don’t buy soap from cults and I won’t buy chicken there. Don’t drink the Kool-Aid.

  4. All of Sioux Falls is in the Chick-fil-A drive-thru. Hence, “One Sioux Falls”. ‘SCHEELS’ t-shirts, too, they’re a conservative privately owned business, that deals in guns and ammo, that’s marketed, however, as a place to buy furnishing knick-knacks, paintings, and Nikes. So to buy guns to shoot birds, I guess, especially on Sundays, when the drive-thru is closed. Does Nike make a hunting boot though? Do hunting lodges really need knick-knacks? How many pictures of a buffalo do you really need with only one fireplace?
