I am hearing rumors that the city is either getting a settlement or has already received it from this lawsuit (2019);

Sioux Falls officials have filed federal lawsuits against a number of companies, including 3M and DuPont, for toxic chemicals discovered in the city’s groundwater.

Hopefully citizens will get to see the settlement, and hopefully they put the money towards sustainability, once they figure out what that word means.

3 Thoughts on “Did the City of Sioux Falls settle their lawsuit with 3M?

    3M used to make boardgames in Brookings. Now, it looks as though they are playing boardgames with Sioux Falls…. And then there is Dupont. A Dupont once ran for prez…. Bush41 used to love to call him “Pierre” (French pronunciation)…. 3M stands for Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing…. So, somehow a Frenchman and some miners helped develop some unsafe chemicals which led to a board game involving the airport, our ground, our water, and our fine city…. Actually, some might just call all of this SimCity, but that’s a video game and not a realistic board game like Battleship, or better yet like Risk or Sorry…. Which are two words most likely used in the settlement with our fine city.

    Sustainability means to keep the elite corporatists in power at all costs. Now, that’s a board game.
