The movement of Regional processing centers from Sioux Falls to Omaha Neb and Huron to Fargo ND Will not be good for South Dakota!

Please contact The USPS at this monkey Survey to give your input on the transfer of the Regional processing center from Sioux Falls to Omaha Nebraska and from Huron to Fargo North Dakota. It will definitely impact the service by their own admission. If what the USPS says is true we must let them know how we feel. Sioux Falls is the fastest growing city in the nation and it will lose its regional distribution center? This does not make any sense. Please fill out this survey asap.

  1. Don’t Thune, Rounds, and Dusty have the swat to stop this? Or don’t they care?

  2. They are going to renovate the downtown 2nd Ave facility to accommodate more staff from closing other locations.

You’d think there’d be a deal there to convert an old call center or 2 into a regional distribution center since they are right by the airport.

  3. Source for Sioux Falls being the fastest growing city in the nation? It’s not even in the top 20 of any list I can find. Exaggerate much?

  4. I sent a letter of protest to them about this last week. Hopefully, they will get it next week.

  5. But with this proposed change, the old saying “that the check is in the mail” would offer more credence and potential cover. 🙂

  6. “I can’t wait to hear Dusty Johnson’s two positions on this issue”….. 🙂

  7. Sy, I guess I missed the part where he said “small metro area with highest projected 5 year growth”. Looking back, I still don’t see it. Details matter.

  8. FF&L –
I hope your alt identities have the courage to tell you (but in the event tgey do not),
    “Don’t quit your day job.”

  9. Local political and business advertising goes to Omaha then back. Greeting cards sent a year in advance. Interest and late fees because credit card payments arrive late. There’s gonna be lines of trucks up and down I-29. Lay off a few employees then add twice as many truck drivers and triple transportation expense. One thing the post office is not known for is common sense.

On the 7th day God was tired and decided to wait before putting brains in US Post Office directors. Overnight they got away and have been missing since Genesis.

  10. Guy,

Multiple identities makes it possible for at least one of them to be gainfully employed.
