Hey there! Jordan Deffenbaugh here, I just want to invite you down to a good ol’ fashioned pancake breakfast this Saturday, April 27th at ICON Lounge/Dada Gastropub (402 N Main Avenue). We are cooking up pancakes and Dada is selling them for $7/stack.

The breakfast is from 9-11am. Just a block away, the Minnehaha County Admin building is doing early voting from 8am-noon. Come out, have some pancakes, hang out with friends, and then go vote.
Hope you can make it! Looking forward to seeing you there, and thank you for your support,

Jordan Deffenbaugh

  1. The devastation that hit Omaha and its surrounding area yesterday once again begs me to ask the question: “Who were the brilliant city planners in our town who signed off on the massive proliferation of no basement slab home developments in our fine city?”

  2. “What about Dusty?”….. “If you ask me, he doesn’t look like a dog killer”…. “In fact, he looks like the kind of boy who would run around Mitchell delivering the Daily Republic with a dog who has spots and big ears that follows him around town”…. 🙂

  3. The very first thing I would do as a councilember is have every city department director personally provide me a written report on their current operations statuses, workforce statuses, service lines, biggest needs and issues and their strategic plans from day 1. I bet some or most of them would get the sweats. Or they will ask their assistant directors to speak for them or do the report for them.

  4. Alan,
More likely those Directors would hire an outside consultant to write it, then the City Attorney will hire outside legal counsel to review it.
This is the way of thd City Bureaucrat.
