Season ticket holders of both teams have been telling me there is a push to move both sports teams to the newly minted Augie arena.

This is just a rumor at this point, but it was confirmed to me that the Denty management has been requesting they both find another venue because the teams block out good concert dates.
Oh please. Tell me just how many shows we’re missing out on due to their games. One, maybe two a year? Given the state of the concert industry I think I’d rather have the sports teams guaranteed income.
They plan to play iceball. It’s similar to football like pickleball is to tennis.
i can see the storm leaving over low attendance and looking for cheaper rent, but the stampede draw more per game than the cable box holds. also, i have just coined the new midco arena nickname, “the cable box”.
