It is only a matter of time before family and kids witness a small dog being mauled by a bigger dog at the popular concert venue. I see dogs lunge at people and other dogs at every event. As I have mentioned before, bringing your pet to these events causes anxiety in them which causes them to lash out. I saw a pit bull chomp about 4 inches from a smaller dog’s head, if the dog would have been closer it would have bit the head right off, and this was in front of the stage. Can you imagine if the dog was successful? How do you explain that to the guests and kids, “Yeah, we have to cancel tonight’s show to clean up the blood from the dance floor.”
This isn’t about pet owners, it is about the safety of your pets. Trust me, it’s only a matter of time.
But if they can’t take their pets to the Levitt, then how can they rest assured that no one is eating their pets while they are away?
They should have “Pitbull Night”. Or, what about “Catwoman Night”? And speaking of all of this, whatever happened to the woman who used to walk the bike trail with a parrot on her shoulder? Did the e-bikes scare her away? I also think they should have a seventh-inning stretch at the Levitt where everyone engages in a fair game of musical chairs. Perhaps, we could also give out an award each weekend at the Levitt to the attendee who looks the most like their pet. AND, to make everyone happy we could require all attendees to produce papers upon their entrance to the Levitt that prove their pets are up on their vaccinations…. Because, something tells me that most pitbull owners and owners of other vicious pets are most likely anti-vaxxers or practice scofflaw…. problem solved.
