Instead of sharing awful memes that have been around for years, maybe you need to do your job and turn over Noem’s nail and hair salon receipts. The story in Pierre is that the AG told Saddass turn them over because he had no legal authority to hide them from the public. While I am not sure if that convo took place, we know Mr. Jackboots isn’t a big fan of Noem ever since she handed him his ass in the primaries after he tried to cover up sexual harassment at the DCI.

When I worked at the Pavilion, the comedian Carrot Top came and when he was setting up his props on stage before the show he asked if I could help him with a punchline. He asked me, “What is the most white trash city in South Dakota?” I laughed and said, “That list is very long sir.” He says, “C’mon, there has to be a town that is the most white trash.” I giggled and said, “Fort Pierre.” He used the punchline and it got gobs of laughs.
Better yet, the genius of Trumps strategy, over the last ten years in particular, is to create chaos and then to politically survive in it. It’s analogous to when the Nazis set the Reichstag on fire to create confusion and blame it all on the communists.

Some of our Republican friends need to grow up, especially when they lead in a state that is mostly dependent upon federal dollars to sustain our economic, and thus, political existence…. Or, is that just socialism and not communism? But do our Republican friends really know the difference, because many of them often find themselves born on third base thinking they have hit a triple?
This seems more like something Sattgast’s current wife (not the first wife still listed in a Wikipedia profile based from a 2017 candidate profile) would put on social media.
Sattgast has always struck me as a milquetoast, “don’t rock the boat”, “Chris Nelson-type” of career political bureaucrat, content to meld into the political veneer of Pierre such that he always has a job.
If Pierre were a Democrat town*, guys like Nelson and Sattgast would adapt and still have a government job or elected position.
* Hot Take – Pierre and Hughes County is more Blue (more politically progressive [read liberal]) than the surrounding country. Much like Fairfax County Virginia [suburban Washington D.C.], each of these areas providing residence to denizens of government bureaucrats.
Watch the election returns for the initiated referendums and constitutional amendments in this next election. Results for Hughes County will look more like Brookings County or Clay County, than Sully County.
