• Putting him in a supervisor role in HR to monitor the HR department: NEPOTISM
• Massive raises without a promotion or increased job duties (this is a trick to bump up pension and benefits): NEPOTISM
This is the kind of crap you see in the private sector, but NOT on the taxpayer’s dime. Apparently Poops and Beck think the City of Sioux Falls is their private corporation to run. And we used to think Councilor Erpenbach’s kids mowing the parks was a big deal.
H.R keeps getting bigger and bigger, maybe its time to cut the payroll by 50%, what do you think Scott? How many managers are in H.R alone? Payroll Manager, Hiring Manager, Asst Director/manager, Officer Manager, now this new position. It is time to fire some employees. Send them the boot and back to private sector.

There’s an HR department if you can find anybody there. Nepotism, of course. This is not democracy. It’s a kingdom. Other than key people, everyone is a prince or princess. It’s not going to change because it’s impossible to get an audience with the King. Especially, at public comment.
