Me, Jackie Beilke, Ken Alvine, Chris Browne, John Ashlock

We had a surprise visitor to the SF Cartoonist reception last night, Chris Browne stopped by (Hagar the Horrible & Bunny Hill). He has lived in SF since Fall (?). Lots of funny stories, ironically about Charlie Brown.

5 Thoughts on “Sioux Falls Cartoonists Unite

  1. Hi Scott,

Then Ironically I found this link, which is funny. Because your link referenced other Chris Browne Links, which were posted by JANITORBOB, well Janitor Bob was the band of Michelle’s Brother Martin. This is a video of them doing ‘Happy Song’ at the Pomp Room with Spooncat.

Talk about 6 degrees of separation, woooooa

  3. Janitor Bob + Spooncat was awesome!!! Thanks for the link!

Thinking what you did (YouTube link jumping)was a cool idea… watched a Chris Browne video, and somewhere wound up watching a Kelo commercial, watched the Hooterville Mayer ride a part of our bike trails (only part, pretty bumpy ride) then, it led to Skippy at Nitwits or something like that.

Heh. “Janitor Bob” was also the Washington High School administration’s code word for “bomb threat”. One day, Bob got called to the office. We got to leave early that day.

all leads to Skippy having went to Lincoln High back in the late 1970’s, then having run for city council a few thousand times, and then writing this terrific article:
