I bet the guy from southdacola can’t free hand paint a target as well as I just did. If he sees it he’ll probably put a paper bag on and call it his art.

Also, as far as I can tell Obama hasn’t done anything that could make this country less safe. He may want to close Gitmo, but it ain’t closed yet.

You should note however that if Dick was actually painting the target, I’m quite sure the bullseye would be directly over the city of Chicago. He might even add a smaller target over San Fransisco.

Here’s what you don’t get, Cheney is going off his gut and 3 plus decades of front line experience. The man has forgotten more about the security of the country than Panetta will ever know. He knows what it takes to put the fear of God in our enemies and he isn’t seeing that in today’s Admin. and their “please love me, I’m sooo cool” approach to Foreign Policy.
The proof you are looking for won’t be there until we are attacked again or hopefully we stop another attack.

Where was his ‘gut’ before 9/11 and before attacking Iraq. I would take security advice from a Taro card reader before I would take it from Cheney.
Cheney has a history of oppressing and bombing the fuck out of the middle east.. Damn right he expects the US to be attacked. I’d expect to get stung if I’d been regularly pissing on a hornets’ nest as a career for the last 3 decades.
Maybe Dick would be interesred in an ambassador job in Afghanistan or Iraq?

That’s one of his weaknesses. He only knows how to deal with foreign governments and their armies. Had we done everything he and his fellow neocons wanted to do, we wouldn’t be seeing a revolution in Iran today – a revolution started by the people of Iran who are trying to overthrow their oppressive government.
Cheney was always out front painting Iran as the enemy. But any sane person with an inkling of knowledge of the region knows that Iran’s young, urban population is much more pro-america than president Ahmadinnerjacket would ever admit. That young, urban population happens to also be the largest demographic in Iran. Bomb their country and you lose them.
With the people of countries under oppressive regimes, the “please love me, I’m sooo cool” approach works. It undermines the regime without costing us a dollar… or a life.
