The anti-global warming meteorologists are at it again, hyping the weather. I know it is scientifically possible to predict severe storms 12 hours in advance, but when you are saying crap like “There will probably be tornadoes tonight.†that’s a little extreme. I could just hear an elderly couple after watching that on TV; “Merle, we better put the small color TV down in the basement tonight in my sewing room and watch the weather from there. I’ll make sure I fill a couple of milk-jugs with some water and bring a couple of jars of preserves down to in case we get trapped.â€

I think KELO planted those tornadoes last night in Bon Homme county just to spite me!
They seemed to have quite a few reporters already in the field hoping for some really good storm/damage footage. Kinda like vultures hoping to pick the one little town that gets blown away to get some exclusive footage.
BTW, that toon is now on my wall in my den.
The storm center was sporting a lot of ‘pants tents’ last night.
I like the fact that they call it “storm center” even on warm, sunny days – once I stop shivering with fear, I just may venture outside once again –
They should change it to Bullshit Center
