Last week Eppy the Babe Hound posted that we’re having a “blog war“. I would like to clarify that nobody is being threatened with physical harm. I’m not wishing any evil on Todd or Caheidelwatsit for their contrary views. They have lower standards in music than most of us cool kids over here at SouthDacola, and they contribute to what’s wrong with the music scene in Sioux Falls and the surrounding areas.
And for the record Cory, I DO think that Janitor Blob is a bunch of media whores. Whore might not be the right word, but I’d like to see how much $ actually gets donated to charity, as opposed to how many cheeseburgers Pat invests in with his share. (For the record, I’ve had great times at Janitor Blob concerts.. 15 years ago. I’m just not paying a $20 cover to see furniture salesmen plow through Happy Song, even if it is in the name of cancer research.)
This sucks in so many ways, I can’t settle on just one joke.
Here come the “He does so much for our community” and “He loves the children” bullshit arguments. Kory is a publicity whore. Maybe he should run for Mayor.
I can’t decide who the bigger douche bag is, Kory or our resident Silver Spooned Slacker (anti-union) Boss.
They both should STFU for the most part.

Once again Kronie Krabbenhoft has sunk to new lows in the “Shameless Glorification of T. Denny” game. Sanford announced the closing of the Sioux Falls Federal Credit Union branch that has been on the main campus for almost 30 years, so that First Premier Bank can open a branch instead. They claim that it has nothing to do with the $400 million donation from T.Denny. Oh yeah… let’s not overlook the fact that we aren’t calling the health system Sioux Valley anymore or that they erected a bronze idol of SD’s richest douche bag on the front steps. Nooo noooo … the money had NOTHING to do with this decision. Never mind that almost 2000 Sanford employees conveniently do business EVERY DAY at SFFCU’s Sanford branch, or the fact that Sanford Human Resources lists SFFCU’s convenient location as a benefit to their employees. It is obvious that the relationship between the health system and T. Denny has become a big evil elephant lurking in the corner of the room, waiting for the opportunity to lift a few more dollars out of the common man’s pocket. It makes me a little sick to think about how obvious the connection is, and they’ll tell you straight to your face that it’s “awful†to suggest it. For shame.
What’s next? When you can’t pay your bill in full at the time of service, maybe they’ll offer you a First Premier loan with a low low introductory rate.
I just have two questions after readng the announcement in the Argus.
1. Where will college kids go to force their shitty taste in music on the masses?
2. Will Jango the Frog move his show to another station where no one will listen to it?
