Not sure what army he called up, but Randy probably had the largest political float I have ever seen in a St. Patty’s day parade. Pat Starr, Srstka and Noble made a good showing also. Stehly was lucky enough to have a drum line following her.
She may not be on the city council YET, but she surely earned the title of petition queen.
Sioux Falls city council At-Large candidate Theresa Stehly has been coined the ‘petition queen’ and she showed her sash when she collected this many signatures (she took in over 200 on her own) for her At-Large candidacy. In fact she told me that there were still more coming in after the deadline and some had to be thrown out due to notary issues.

At this point, Theresa is only ‘considering’ a run. She wants to see how her petition gathering goes. She has until the filing date of February 26th to make a decision on an official run.
She told me today that the mayor really inspired her to run when he had the press conference asking for citizen participation.
This is old hat for Theresa, and I respect her honesty about a consideration at this point. But if she runs, she will have 100% of my support.
The awards dinner will be this Saturday in Huron, October 3. Last year‘s winner, Theresa Stehly will be making opening remarks.
