I would like to thank my friend Berit Soli-Holt for hooking me up with Andrew and helping with this project. This is the first in the series. We are going to try to do one every two-weeks.
I drew this last night at the wine bar enjoying some vino with my friend Charles. We got into a discussion about politics with the bartender and I made a crack about ‘How do you lose emails?’ I love Malbec, but I still think Black Sheep Columbian Diesel fuel works better for inspiration.
I don’t sport wood that often over cable programming, but tommorrow night at 10 PM I may just need a cold shower!

This is a Byzantine style painting I commissioned by world-reknowned Religious artist Fedor. It is the Epiphany. I met Fedor at the Touch of Europe one night. He was in Sioux Falls painting Icon Panels for St. Joseph Cathedral’s Chapel remodel. Fedor is amazing. Fedor does most of his work in Caustic (wax-dye paint) which is very time consuming. He told me his favorite artist is Warhol – Go figure! He is from Moscow. I have lost track of him over recent years and his website is not working – we fear he is in prison in Russia. I did learn one thing, never take a byzantine artist to a strip club!!!
