Davey Rothbart and brother Pete are both going to be there.  Davey is the founder of Found. Pete will be performing songs inspired by items in the new issue, #5……should be fun.

I saw this coming a mile away. The Argus Leader is starting their drum beat once again for the Events Center (ironically the same day a sold out concert rolls into town), and that’s fine. As long as the community gets to vote on it and decide on its’ location. I have never understood a newspaper that is so obsessed with spending the taxpayer’s money?

I also had a good laugh at the front page of the VOICES section on Sunday. At the top they were promoting building a new events center and on the inside they ONLY interviewed local politicians and businessmen that were for it, but no naysayers. Then if you go to the bottom of the front page, Beck writes about how the newspaper shows different views – just not on a new events center I guess.
